I’m Jackson Flaherty, a singer, actor, and dancer based currently out of Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Boston, MA, I am a proud Mass-hole. My grandmother was a drama teacher and could see early that baseball was not going to be my thing, so she showed me Funny Girl, and I was instantly hooked on everything musical theatre. Performing gave me a place to fit in and take up space when it felt like the rest of the world could not make room. I moved to New York to get my BFA and learned so much about authenticity and my identity as a performer and a person. Musicals let us be anything anywhere, and I strive to be in rehearsal rooms where there is space for all to bring their authentic selves!
